The Mountain Course – A Hale Irwin Signature Design; 18 holes, 7,457 yards, Par 72. Three time U.S. Open winner Hale Irwin has designed the resort’s 18-hole Mountain Course situated on the Ranch at Cordillera. The par 72 course follows the natural mountain terrain and brings into play a variety of challenges; elevated trees, narrow fairways, and rolling, high alpine meadows.

The Summit Course – A Jack Nicklaus Signature Design; 18 holes, 7,530 yards, Par 72. The Golden Bear brings 30 years of design experience to Cordillera with The Summit Course, a Jack Nicklaus signature golf course. The 18-hole looped course unquestionably establishes Cordillera as the premier golf community in the Rocky Mountains, showcasing some of Cordillera’s most stunning vistas.

The Valley Course – A Tom Fazio Signature Design; 18 holes, 7,091 yards, Par 71. Considered to be one of the best course designers in the world today, Tom Fazio, has sculpted the course into the high mountain desert topography of the Cordillera Valley Club. The primarily southern exposure and low elevation allows this spectacular course to remain open for an extended playing season.

The Short Course – A Dave Pelz Signature Design; 9 holes, 1,257 yards, Par 27. A well regarded short game teaching professional, Dave Pelz has created a unique golf amenity for The Club at Cordillera. Red Sky Golf Courses – Tom Fazio Course; 18 holes, 7,580 yards, Par 72. Located just 15 minutes from Vail, Red Sky Golf Club features two signature courses designed by some of the best in golf. Tom Fazio and Greg Norman have each sculpted a piece of Colorado into an alpine playground that rewards your highest expectations. Dave Pelz Scoring Game School
The Lodge & Spa at Cordillera is proud to offer an exclusive location of the renowned Dave Pelz Scoring Game School. Pelz, short game guru and coach of top players like Phil Mickelson, has designed instruction to help golfers improve their scores.

The Dave Pelz Scoring Game School applies Dave's practical, scientific approach to golf, honed through years of research and one-on-one coaching of many of the game's top professionals. The 3-Day Scoring Game School is offered in just six locations nationwide.

Pelz Institute research has proven that golfers lose almost 80 percent of their shots to par inside of 100 yards from the hole. To that end, the school curriculum focuses strictly on what Dave defines as "The Scoring Game," a combination of the short game (distance wedges, pitching, chipping, sand play) and putting, which comprise 60 to 65 percent of the total number of shots played per round. From three-foot putts to full wedge and long bunker shots, you'll learn to properly execute shots from any scoring position.

Dave's philosophy is that golfers should know:
1.    What they need to learn to improve.
2.    How to learn it.
3.    How to internalize and use what they've learned.

The Dave Pelz Scoring Game School gives students skills and practice techniques to promote a lifetime of lower scores and enjoyment of the game.
