The Divide is the section of Cordillera that can be seen high on the hill above Edwards to the southwest. Since the Divide is made up of high hillsides and dramatic ridgelines, homes in this neighborhood often have expansive views east toward Vail and vast northwestern vistas.
At the Divide, the architectural character is a fusion of European and alpine ambiance. Due to similarities in the landscapes found in Central and Southern Europe, residences in the Divide are typically stucco and stone with exposed wood accents, hammered iron finishes and slate roofs. Just travel down Route 6 until you reach the main entrance to Cordillera. Take a left onto Squaw Creek Road and continue to reach The Divide gated community. It is the first neighborhood off of Rte. 6. Once through the gates, you will climb up a gorgeous mountain with homes nicely situated throughout.
During the ride you will enjoy fabulous views, including the Ranch neighborhood southwest of the Divide.
