You may also see a variety of wildlife including deer, elk, and marmots. An occasional moose may even wander by! If you are in mood to explore, there are 4 wheel drive roads that will take you through the Red and White Mountains and to Muddy Pass. In the winter time, this is a popular place for snowshoeing and snowmobiling.
The ultimate destination of Piney Lakes offers visitors short and long hikes as well as fishing. Also, you could just choose to sit and have a picnic while appreciating the magnificent surroundings.
