What You'll Love About Cordillera

Cordillera is a private mountain community in Colorado, a place for beautiful mountain resorts and mountain view homes.  Conveniently located and reachable by both Denver & Eagle/Vail airport, this one-of-a-kind mountain community extends through thousands of acres of open space, native pine and aspen forests, sprawling meadows and crystal mountain streams.

Cordillera is home to herds of elk and deer that browse through fields of mountain sage and wildflowers...its ponds and rivers teem with native trout...and its sky with soaring eagles.  Cordillera's pristine natural beauty is what brought you to Colorado...but you will stay for much, much more.

Have We Mentioned the Golf Courses?

Cordillera Valley Club, The Divide, The Ranch and The Summit are the four golf course communities that make up Cordillera.  As the eagle flies, Cordillera's private communities stretch over 13 miles.

Cordillera Valley Club

Dramatic “painted” rock foothills and towering, snow-capped peaks combine to create the high mountain desert setting for this community. Homes here rely on stone, rough-sawn wood siding and covered porches to convey their western personalities.

The Divide

Designed to emulate the architectural character of Europe’s mountain villages, homes on The Divide capitalize on hammered iron, stucco and slate roofs to create a signature look. Residents on The Divide stand in awe of the towering peaks and plunging valleys that surround the community and welcome the proximity to Cordillera's Short Course.

The Ranch

Formerly a working ranch, The Ranch at Cordillera relies on gentle ridges, undulating meadows and stands of mature forest to set its tone. Residents within its distinctive enclaves draw their designs from architecture whose early American West character is defined by logs, timber and stone.

The Summit

The Summit represents the pinnacle, a perfect mountain setting, and offers compelling 360 degree views of the Gore and Sawatch Ranges, New York Mountain, Seven Hermits, Castle Peak and the Flat Tops from many of its 2,700 pristine acres. Residents here benefit from unequaled privacy and generous open space. They also welcome living on a parcel of land that borders three million acres of National Forest.

If You're Eager to Get Away from It All...

The location of the community itself is perfect for those who enjoy the feeling of getting 'away from it all' in a private mountain retreat, yet Cordillera is surprisingly accessible. The shops, restaurants, post office, banks, theater, and other businesses in Edwards, as well as the Interstate 70 interchange, are all within a few minutes of the entrance to Cordillera. The Village-to-Village ski experience of Beaver Creek, Bachelor Gulch and Arrowhead also a short distance away.

Cordillera offers year-round opportunities to participate in clubs, classes, events, outings and tournaments, all in the company of the finest people in the world.

In addition, carefully conceived recreational venues, gracious hospitality facilities, and luxurious health and wellness services co-exist with over 7,000 acres of land, nearly 65 percent of which is dedicated open space. Part of the appeal of Cordillera is its respect for nature and the mountains surrounding the development.

The combination of privacy and convenience are exceptionally well done and make Cordillera an incredible experience for its homeowners and visitors.

The Club at Cordillera

Nicklaus, Irwin, Fazio and Pelz combine their award-winning design skills with Cordillera’s world-class amenities and member programs to create a club experience that is unequaled in Colorado. Each designer, faced with the challenge to build golf courses that would accentuate the natural mountain landscape, clearly accomplished his goals.

Tailored to the lifestyle of our members, the Signature Golf Membership and Social Membership offer families and their guests the right to use the golf and social facilities, which are singularly special in the Vail Valley.

The residents of Cordillera have also formed several special interest groups including an art program, summer motorcycle club, and a high alpine gardening club.
